Bacardi Labels:

The labels have changed slightly in shape but they are quite similar to the original.. I wanted to change them a bit and add some flirtatious words in..

The aim of the label is that the person has to turn the bottle to read the chat up line..

The thought behind it is that the bottle is flirting with the person.. however, the person drinking may use the cheesy chat ups as an ice breaker.. just to make the night that bit more interesting..

There is a label for each flavour..

The posters reflect the labels.. with the same colour and shape..

The reason behind the typefaces is that the first half of the chat up lines are always said quite seriously.. but then the flirty part comes after.. and I think the type shows this..

The poster at the festival:

The same as the fresh business cards and letterhead, I wasn't making a decision, so I have now.. I have used 4 colours for the logo and business card.. and I have used flower illustrations to emphasise the secret garden theme.. I think they have a boutique feel to them.. however, I think that the stock could be a bit thicker and have a bit of texture to it.. just for that boutique feel..

The wallpaper designs would be seen in the fitting rooms and on the shop floor on one wall.. I wanted to keep the illustrations in black, as from the crits I was told that the images were too mixed, as some were coloured and others weren't.. and it didn't work.. I can see this now.. I have decided to use colour in the background of the images..

The posters would be seen around town to start off with and maybe in the shop window, but when the boutique becomes more popular and well known, these types of posters would be seen in magazines and billboards and bus stops..

I'm not keen with the top layout of text.. it isn't clear how much the items are, as I find it difficult to read, however, the poster at the bottom is easily read quickly, which is what is needed when consumers are rushing about shopping..

Leaflet and poster:

To promote the products and the range, I have designed a leaflet that would be handed out when purchasing any items and would be available at the till point to be picked up.. they could also be included in magazines or newspapers..

I wanted the leaflet to stand out a bit more.. so decided to cut the top corners off.. making the columns a bit asymmetrical.. the front and back cover match up when the put together and the products are divided on the pages.. The citrus product is the 'bigger' product.. so I decided to advertise it in the middle of the leaflet..

The fresh image I have used is just from the internet.. the reason I decided to chose it was because I feel this is what fresh is.. clean water splashed in your face.. I also think it shows health and beauty too..

The poster would be seen in magazines, billboards and bus stops.. there would be different poster designs for the different products..

Need to look at more variations of layout and colour.. but as a quick idea..

Making the background look a bit like the bacardi breezer logo..

Burlesque Event:

I was asked to do a poster for a charity event in Leeds.. I think it's a bit too girly.. with all the pink, but I would like to change the colours a bit.. This is what I sent off to Dawn.. so now waiting for a reply.. 

I needed to add the time and address.. also the designers and I needed to say that it was a burlesque and fashion show.. so I added this.. 

Found it really difficult, as there is actually quite a lot of information on there.. but hopefully they like and it looks ok..

Still expecting her to make me change the colours around..

And for the pop-up shop event..

Changed it quite a bit.. I wanted it to look a bit different.. and stand out a bit.. still needs a bit of work.. don't spend too long on it though!!

Aligned it a bit better.. then added the objects down the side of information.. not sure if I like the images down there.. looks kinda random.. 

I am going to experiment with the colour scheme a bit more.. 

Quite like the colours on this poster.. I'm going to send both off.. see which one she likes.. or if she likes parts.. blabla.. or start over again :\ though there's not enough time for that.. 

Added the little hands.. quite chic I think.. and elegant.. sent them off so hopefully they're okay!! back to briefs..
