Google Packages:

Once we came together to show our individual outcomes, we were able to decide what products we wanted to make.

We decided to use the search bar scroll piece on the overall packaging, as it tells the consumer what is inside the box in an interesting, interactive way.. This would be seen on all the family packaging, but obviously the contents would be different..

We decided to do the packaging from the Home & Office range, we chose this as we wanted to focus on the icons and make the packages interactive, so when they opened up, something moved.. and we thought the best way to show this was to keep the well known icon..

Inside the packages would be a USB stick that would hold the product to download..

We wanted to keep the look of google, as there was such a big range of target audience, we thought the original search engine works well as it is.. it appeals to everyone, and everyone knows what google is.. I hope..

We did find that most people didn't realise that google had products, but knew what the products were.. packaging the products in families such as these would help people understand how big google actually is.. and how many products they have.

I feel like we worked well in this collaboration, we didn't necessarily have a leader, but we were able to get together to talk through ideas and split the workload evenly, so we always had something to do.

Below are the 3 other packages we chose to package.. these would be in their own families, but we only needed to show them individually for this brief.. again they follow the same guidelines as the packages from home & office.
