Fresh business card..
Another idea for the business card.. however, they are not my images.. so may have to do something about that.. take photos of my own daisy.. i don't know.. we'll see..
Or simplify it.. as the packaging is quite simple..
My simple version..
Packaging idea:
The idea that it looks like a daisy.. really simple.. just using green and orange..
However, there's nothing that tells the consumer what is inside the packaging.. what kind of makeup.. how can I shop this??
Write on the side.. at the front..
And then maybe have more details inside on one of the arms..??
Need to look at the stock now.. as paper is far too flimsy.. would like it to be white.. and quite thick.. maybe a bit of texture.. we'll see..
Packaging..
After printing out the mock up packages.. I have realised a few things that need changing..
- Longer packages (for lipstick and mascara) need to be wider on the sides, as it doesn't cover all the way around.
- Circles at the top don't need to be massive when they are longer.. just looks stupid!
- Powder packaging- needs longer sides to fit at the top.

Shop Window..
Again needed a change, as the identity has changed.. still working on it.. I'm thinking I might use the ink to create the outlines of the name, this will make it have the same effect as the illustrations..
I want to work with the shop window.. so I quickly vectored up the shop window to work with..
Quick thought - could use the sign as the top of the letterhead??
This is the kinda thing I'm looking at.. needs more work.. but I'm moving onto something else.. my head hurts!!
Whilst it's in my mind.. I have decided that I would like to do canvas bags.. so do some screen printing onto bags, that would then be used to take clothes home and then reused as a bag for life type thing..
The images I would use is the flowers.. with little colour.. maybe 3 tops.. or i could keep them really simple and just use the outline..
Maybe do both.. would like to make a paper gift bag..
Change it..
From the last crit.. I was made aware that the previous identity looked a lot like Jamie Oliver.. HA! which wasn't good.. so iv changed the look completely.. I'm also looking at making the shop look very different to chain stores, and giving it it's own theme, that won't be dated..
The theme I'm basing everything on is the secret garden.. So I am using illustrations of flowers and plants, giving it a bit of a boutique, warm feeling to it..
Here are a few business card ideas to get going..
Not sure about how the type is placed.. I like the illustration in the middle.. not sure about the 'Joliver' writing?
Prefer the Joliver at the top with 'ladies boutique' across the bottom, I think it sits nicely.. however, there is still something missing, it's just kind of floating..
Changed the typeface, quite like it, but would like some feedback on it.. and on the back.. need to work out which typeface to use where.. bit random at the moment..
Letterhead:
With Compliments...
Clothe Tags:
Quite boring.. would probably have a pattern on the background.. maybe look at using a close up of the image.. instead of having it all in view..
I think this is much more interesting.. and stands out more than the other tags..
Need to look at stock.. does it need more in the background?
